(Dan Tri) – On the afternoon of May 25, at the Government Guest House, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ha Kim Ngoc attended the 60th Anniversary of Africa Day (May 25) organized by African Embassies in Hanoi.

Attending the Celebration were representatives of the Embassies of African countries in Vietnam such as: Egypt, Algeria, Angola, Libya, Mozambique, Morocco, South Africa, Nigeria, the Diplomatic Corps in Hanoi and representatives of many Ministries,

Regarding bilateral relations, Deputy Minister Ha Kim Ngoc affirmed that Vietnam always attaches importance to promoting traditional friendly and cooperative relations with African countries.
For his part, Moroccan Ambassador to Vietnam Jamale Chouaibi, representing the group of African Ambassadors to Vietnam, shared that Africa is `a land of opportunity` with 60% of arable land yet to be exploited.
Emphasizing that the relationship between Africa and Vietnam is a historical relationship formed during the struggle for national liberation and defense of each country, the Moroccan Ambassador was pleased to see the relationship between Vietnam and other countries.
