(Dan Tri) – Curtis Jones’ goal as well as goalkeeper James Trafford’s excellent penalty save helped England U21 overcome Spain and win the U21 Euro championship after 39 years.

The England U21 team entered the final against Spain on the evening of July 8 (Vietnam time) with a winning record and without conceding a single goal.

The decisive free kick helped England win the U21 Euro championship

`Three Lions` entered the game confidently and missed two opportunities to open the score after only 6 minutes of rolling.

A minute later, Gordon himself broke the offside trap before passing a cross for Gibbs-White to finish in front of the open goal, but defender Pacheco was able to narrowly clear the ball.

In the 12th minute, it was Spain U21’s turn to respond with Baena’s shot at the edge of the penalty area.

In the 44th minute, the England U21 team regretted when Colwill headed in the penalty area after Cole Palmer’s cross, but the ball hit the post and went out.

Cole Palmer’s excessive celebration then caused coaching staff members and players from both teams to fight each other.

Entering the second half, Spain raised their squad and forced England U21 to defend deep.

Spain U21 controlled the entire match in the second half, but the final finishing was so bad that the `land of bulls` team still could not find an equalizing goal.
