(Dan Tri) – In the new generation, Ford Everest has a larger size, more safety and convenience equipment, and off-road capabilities also promise many improvements.
The new generation Ford Everest 2023 promises to have better performance than the old car.
Introduced in the article is the version for the Australian market, but will be similar to the car available in countries in Asia – Pacific and Africa (not the European and North American markets).
All 2023 Ford Everest vehicles are equipped with underbody protection, a locking rear differential, selectable off-road driving modes, and two built-in tow hooks in the front.
For example, the optional Tow Pack features an integrated trailer brake control system and is capable of towing up to 3.5 tonnes.
Engine and gearbox
Pictured is the 3.0L V6 turbo-diesel engine version.
The new Ford Everest in the Australian market has two engine options: a 2.0L 4-cylinder twin-turbo diesel engine and a 3.0L V6 turbo-diesel engine.
The power and torque parameters of these two engines have not yet been announced, only that the standard versions Ambiente and Trend use rear-wheel drive, while other versions use 4-wheel drive.
Other markets will also have the 2.3L EcoBoost gasoline engine.
Furniture and technology
The elongated dashboard design creates a feeling of more spacious interior space.
When opening the car door, the part that immediately catches attention is the large information and entertainment screen – 10.1 inches vertically on the Ambiente version and 12 inches on the Trend, Sport, and Platinum versions.
Everest 2023 has a wireless phone charging system, the front seats have 2 additional cup holders that can be opened/closed flexibly according to usage needs.
The Sport and Platinum versions are equipped with heated and ventilated front seats, and the Platinum version is also equipped with a memory driver’s seat, 10 power adjustments, along with second row seats and a heated steering wheel.
Standard safety equipment is quite rich, including: 9 airbags, including one airbag located between the driver and passenger, Ford’s smart active cruise control system with lane alignment system.
Ford said the selling price and time the car will be on the market will be announced later.
