At the end of November, after the Miss Universe 2023 contest ended, beauty site Global Beauties announced the Country of the year 2023 rankings to rank countries on the international beauty map.
The ranking of countries is based on the achievements of country representatives at 5 major international beauty contests taking place in 2023 including Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International, Miss Grand Prix.
Accordingly, Peru is the leading country in the beauty rankings of 2023, followed by Venezuela, Colombia, Nicaragua, Thailand, Ecuador, Philippines, and Puerto Rico.
Currently, there is still a famous international beauty contest that has not taken place this year, which is Miss World 2023. After many delays, the contest is set to be held next April in India.
